Colorado Incident Management Team and Grand Valley Fire Protection District
Much of the work you’ve been able to see on the 310 Fire has come from the aircraft overhead. But what you haven’t been able to see is the tremendous amount of work happening on the ground.
Crews have been working tirelessly in nearly 100-degree heat, laying long stretches of hose line and strengthening and improving fire lines as they work to gain additional containment.
It’s a demanding job in challenging conditions, but crews continue to put in the hard work necessary to protect the communities and landscape.
We hope that these photos will help you gain a better understanding of what is happening on the ground!
